At your checkup, Dr. Tutin will conduct a thorough examination of your teeth, mouth, and gums. He’ll check for tooth decay and gum disease, evaluate your existing dental work, and assess your bite alignment. Leading-edge ViziLite technology helps us perform accurate and efficient oral cancer screenings by identifying suspicious lesions that require further investigation. Digital X-rays show a complete picture of your oral health and emit about 80% less radiation than traditional radiography. During your exam, we’ll take pictures inside your mouth with an intraoral camera and display the images on a chairside monitor. We’ll use these images to illustrate our findings and help you determine the dental therapies that meet your needs, budget, and schedule.
