Images from our Panorex and digital X-ray machines provide a complete picture of your oral health and aid in accurate diagnosis of issues not easily seen during a manual or visual exam. Digital X-rays emit about 80% less radiation than traditional radiography, so they’re safer for you and the environment. During your exam, we’ll take pictures of your teeth, mouth, and gums with an intraoral camera and display them on a chairside monitor. These images aid in co-diagnosis, letting us work together to determine the best path to a strong, comfortable smile.
ViziLite, a state-of-the-art diagnostic tool, aids in screening for oral cancer by painlessly and accurately detecting suspicious mouth lesions that require additional investigation. We use ultrasonic scalers for efficient teeth cleaning, air abrasion for comfortable cavity removal, and needle-free numbing for gum disease therapy.
